Woodlands Nursery is a dedicated growing nursery that supplies our garden centre with Shrubs, Hardy Perennials and Climbers.
For over 35 years this specialist growing nursery has helped us supply our garden centres with a diverse choice of freshly delivered plants. Situated opposite our Petham Garden centre this enables us to supply a fresher, better quality plant as they have fewer miles to travel to their destinations.
Shrubs form the backbone of any garden, and we grow hundreds of varieties here, giving you a year round choice of expertly grown plants. We also offer a 3 year hardy plant guarantee, so you can buy from us with confidence.
Meet The Grower
Andre from our Woodlands nursery is a trained horticulturist with over 25 years experience in growing our Shrubs, Climbers & Large Perennials.
He manages a small team of experienced, dedicated staff who bring plants on from small seedlings and cuttings, until they flourish into fully grown plants ready for sale on our garden centres.
This 4 acre site has 6 polytunnels that help him to grow 22,000 shrubs and 40,000 perennials in a year, along with 5,000 climbers and 1,500 larger specimen plants. All of these locally grown plants are cared for by the expert staff until they're transported for sale throughout our 4 garden centres.
