Plant Manager - Chislehurst Garden Centre
We are seeking a full time Plant Manager for our busy, independent Garden Centre in Chislehurst.
This is a ‘hands on’ role whereby retail experience and plant knowledge is essential.
The role will include managing a team of staff, so good interpersonal skills are also essential.
Job Description:
- Manage the day to day running of the plant area
- Presentation and displays of a wide range of top quality plants
- Stock control and maximizing sales opportunities through themed displays
- Good housekeeping standards across the department
- Liaising with our 3 growing nurseries for product availability
- Delivering excellent customers sales and service
Key Skills
The appointed person will be a great team leader with a good working knowledge of plants, able to work to high standards of retailing and confident to provide excellent customer service at all times in return for good long term career prospects with a family business who value their staff and encourage a good level of autonomy at all times
