We've recently updated the website to include articles about the up and coming spring season. 20/12/07: CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS

The Christmas Opening Hours for all our Garden Centres are as follows: Fri 21st 9.00am-5.30pm, Sat 22nd 9.00am-5.30pm, Sun 23rd 10.30am-4.30pm, Mon 24th 9.00am-3pm, Tues 25th to Tues 1st CLOSED. Wed 2nd Normal opening hours resume.

17/12/07: HURRY WHILST OUR STOCKS LAST

Due to popular demand we now have a limited supply of Christmas trees is stock. To avoid disappointment come and choose your tree as soon as possible. There will be a number of freshly cut trees made available but you'll have to be quick as they are going fast.

13/12/07: HOUSEPLANTS MAKE GREAT GIFT IDEAS

If you're looking for a last minute gift this Christmas then look no further than a houseplant. Our British grown Poinsettia are looking fantastic and they come in a range of beautiful colours like red, pink, cream and burgundy. We also have houseplant baskets that are looking good as well.

13/12/07: FRESH DELIVERY OF TREES

Here at Thompson's we have had a fresh delivery of trees this week. Choose from our great variety of cut trees in sizes from 3ft to 12ft. We also have potted or container grown trees still available. Our staff are on hand to help you choose your tree, net it and get it to your car.

28/11/07: CHRISTMAS TREES NOW IN

Our Christmas trees are now at all of our Garden Centres. Fresh deliveries of quality trees every week in all shapes and sizes. Choose from non-needle drop Nordman or Noble Fir or the traditional Norway Spruce. Cut trees, potted trees and containerised trees, we have them all. Read our Christmas Tree Guide for more details.

18/05/07: GARDEN FENCING: IMPORTANT NOTICE

Thompson's Plant & Garden Centre stock a range of decorative and functional fencing products including posts, panels, trellis, arches, arbours and edging from several manufacturers. In addition we can normally order any items from the range manufactured by Forest Garden.

At present there is a countrywide shortage of wooden fence panels with demand exceeding supply. We are therefore unable to reserve or take customer orders for several styles of panels at present.

We will update this information as the situation changes.
