General Gardening Tips
•Start to mow your lawn if it’s dry, otherwise wait until March.
•Plant deciduous trees, shrubs & climbers if the ground is workable and weather is mild.
•Towards the end of February cut back seed heads of perennials to make room for new growth.
•Make sure you dig over your beds by the end of February.
•Cut back your rose bushes by about a third, pruning out dead material.
•Spike lawns to aid drainage.
•Primroses are a great value way of brightening up your garden.
•Stop pots from freezing by raising them off the ground.
